Helpful!Our aging 6 pound dog has always worn a cat bell because she is brown like dirt and runs in the back yard and is difficult to see. She needed new ones as her sight and hearing are no longer so good and she gets underfoot. The double bell is loud enough that we can hear her move and not heavy or too long to be annoying to her. They attach with a clasp that is secure and easy to attach. We have extras but that's okay.

Cute and useful!I bought these to attach to my cat's harness and collar when she goes outside in a somewhat futile attempt to prevent her from killing small animals. They are easy to clip on and off, and she can't remove them (I put one in the ring on the back of her harness and the other on the collar around her neck). They also seem quite sturdy. That being said they are not as loud as I had hoped. She's also learned to sit silently in her hiding spot and wait for unsuspecting rodents to appear and then pounce. By the time they hear her coming it's sometimes too late for them to escape, although her success rate seems to have decreased significantly.

Put one on you cat - they'll never sneak up on you againI was afraid our tortoise shell kitty might find these annoying or they would be too large for her collar… But we were pleasantly surprised they look fine, they are loud enough we can keep track of her location when we take her outside with us, and she doesn't seem to notice them at all. Passed a set on to both my daughters for there cats, and am keeping the rest as spares. (Our kitty lost one collar/bell somewhere already – easy open collars are safer for cats, but any snag and you need a new one)

Probably not the best for kittens...These are a little large for kittens and I might use them on them when they get older, but kittens get their claws stuck in the openings in the bells of these quite easily and two, somehow one of the kittens have managed to squash the bells on her collar…but goes with her personality…she likes to run full tilt towards her sister and the sister will move out of the way at the last second letting her charging sibling go right past her…into a wall…off the top of the couch…into their water bowl. For the interim I took some smaller bells off of a collar pack we bought previously and used those since the kittens don't seem to get claws stuck in them when rough housing with each other. These are nice and loud and gave us info where kittens were in the house, but on a 8-9 week old kitty these hang about1.5" to 2" with the clasp and you might end up having to clean kitty litter out of them if used on a small kitten which is why we ended up using some small 3/8" bells that came with a split ring to attach instead.
