Does the job!Honestly, I don't love the look of bells on a strip of materials like this, however I do think it's a great idea because no matter the size or age of your dog, they can always reach the bells. I will say that this is the nicest one of its kind that I could find. I really like the brown leather as it gives a more premium look and the bells seem to have good volume. We didn't hang ours on the door handle because we open/close the door a lot and didn't want to hear constant ringing of bells (we also didn't want to confuse our pup). So instead we hung it with a command hook right next to the door. Because of the way it's packaged, it didn't hang straight or flat right away and visually it just looked a bit messy so we used velcro command strips to hold it straight/flat in place which was very effective.

Bells for potty trainingI’m so glad people make these. 13 years ago when I raised my first girl, I had to use ribbon with a single bell. When I raised my now 3 year old golden, a friend who got her golden right before me sent me some bells that were on rope which I LOVED.

Pavlov DogBell works great, but not as I initially intended. You see, this morning my dog rang the bell in the kitchen and walked into the living room. I got up to let him out. I wished I had with my other dogs!This has been a great purchase for dog training. Attached to our main backyard door, our puppy has actually started hitting it with her nose to signal need to go out. Size wise, It hangs pretty low to the ground from a standard door knob meeting the needs of all dog sizes. There is no installation beyond hanging it over the door. The bells have a nice jangle. I wished the leather was a little softer and less rigid but that is my only “complaint.” I am actually about to purchase a second one for trips to grandma’s house.
