SÚPER LOUD!!!I got this for my tiny dog who would wander into the large backyard and we would lose sight of her BUT with only one bell, her jumping or waking we can hear it from far away and find her quickly!!
Cant explain that it has a much nicer bell sound than the usual ding ding ding of a cat bell. It’s more like church type bell but pleasant chime sound.
Mind you it is LOUD and if you do put it on your dog or cat, they will make the loud chime noice in the middle of the night and wake you up pretty often.

Bells are surprisingly loud. I only need one on my white puppy's collar. She is hard to see with my light kitchen tile. I actually fell trying not to step on her. Being able to hear her changes everything.

Discolors very quicklyThese bells don't stay shiny for very long and look dull and ugly rather quickly. Also, they don't ring particularly well if your dog figures it out and starts walking more carefully (which was the whole point of getting them).

I like that they ring easily every time a cat moves, but they aren’t so obnoxious that they drive me nuts. They’re definitely better than the tiny bells that come on most cat collars.
Deducting one star because my youngest cat, Nugget, brought me a Nuthatch this morning, so the bell’s ability to warn birds is questionable. I was able to rescue the bird and he appeared to be unscathed when I released him back outside.

Great Quality BellsWell Made Little Bell with Brilliant Pitch that is easily detected from a distance! I think they produce a big clear ring for such a small bell. Can't expect them to sound like church bells as some reviewers were unhappy with tone and complained of a tinny sound which I disagree! Maybe a little pricey for some but you have to appreciate the time involved in making such an intricate bell. Very happy with purchase.
