The bad reviews are ALL for the Beef flavor!I have overwhelming anxiety and was suspicious of my pug having teeth problems, she just turned 8. I studied and looked into brushing and such and was surprised to find a trusted brand like Arm & Hammer had a product!
I saw the thousands of reviews and thought it could only be good! However, afterwards I got concerned about a certain chemical "Triclosan" being in it and was scared. Just looked at the reviews, sorted by 1 stars, and the bad reviews are OVERWHELMINGLY for the beef flavor.
I can say that in "banana mint", my pug enjoyed it before brushing her teeth and enjoyed licking it first, and getting her teeth scrubbed with it! Day 3, she still enjoys it and allows me to brush her teeth and her breath has improved drastically! I looked at the contents on the back of my tube, and this harmful chemical "Triclosan" is not in the banana mint version. She has a sensitive stomach sometimes too, so much so that we use probiotics, but she enjoys having her teeth brushed with this flavor, and there's no smell at all (at least to me), and my pug enjoys licking it off her teeth after the brushing. I'm very very happy with this product!
If I had to buy one again, I would absolutely not by the beef one. That one turned me off anyway, because i'm trying to fix bad breath, why would I want beef flavored toothpaste? That seems counter-intuitive.

My pups love it!My 15 month old snorki doesn't like anything we do to groom her. At all. Ever. She will literally bite me every time. But she loves this toothpaste! It's a treat for her and she actually lets me brush her teeth so the flavor must be amazing!!!! My 11 month old coton-poo loves it too. ❤️ They get really excited when I pull out their toothbrushes. If u wanna try brushing ur pups teeth give this a go! We use the vanilla flavor n I haven't tried any of the other flavors.

I Love Arm & Hammer!I ordered this Arm & Hammer Tarter Control Dental Training Kit for my sweet little pupparoo and am so glad I did because it's fantastic and works great! I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't realize when I ordered it that it also comes with a soft finger brush! This wicked sweet kit literally comes with everything you need to get started brushing your dog's teeth and I'm super impressed! The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use too. I started off by letting my pupp taste the toothpaste. Then the next day I let her sniff the finger brush and proceeded to gently brush her teeth with the finger brush for a few days. Then the next week I got her started on the toothbrush and she likes it all now, lol. Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

Good toothpaste, Brush MehI bought this because it was well rated and well-priced I discovered that the toothpaste was very much enjoyed by my dog which probably contributed to the high ratings. He starts licking even before I put it in his mouth so that is half the battle. The toothbrush was nicely angled but smaller than the last one I bought and the head was also smaller which means less surface area on the teeth. I have had this toothbrush for several weeks and the bristles are already getting bent so not sure how long this brush will continue to be effective and will need to be replaced. Great toothpaste because it is enzymatic and my dog loves the taste. I will need to replace the brush in a couple of weeks so this product doesn't get five stars. I suggest that both sides of the toothbrush have the same normal size head. I never use the smaller head because I have not found it to be very effective. Having two brush heads the same normal size will double the usable life of this product. Why hasn't anyone thought of this?

Great product and easy to use!While most reviewers stated this had a bad smell to it, I didn't notice this at all. I ordered the banana mint flavor and it smelled just fine. My dogs were actually excited for me to use this and let me brush their teeth without any issues. The toothbrush has a small brush and larger one on either side of brush which made it super great to reach those back teeth. I also liked that it came with a small brush case to keep the brush clean when not in use. I ordered 3 for my 3 dogs and I am so glad I did!

Great Doggie Toothpaste! Really breaks down tartarI love the beef flavor and my dog tolerates it pretty good, really well, in fact. The peroxide gel stays on their teeth and has been breaking down my dogs tartar, giving us breath relief. The finger scrubber isnt very finger fitting friendly/adjustable and the brush is best for application, but may be for someone else. I do another finger scrubby that is finger adjustable and less abrasive that works great with this toothpaste. The smell lingers but it's way more attractive than what was, lol.

Works Like a Charm… If You Can Convince Your Dog You’re Not Trying to Kill HimThis Arm & Hammer Tartar Control Kit actually works because my dog’s teeth look noticeably cleaner and his breath is way less “something-died-in-there” but convincing him to sit still for brushing?
