Bells are so cute & good sound, work great!

The media could not be loaded. I just received the bells a couple days ago, so I can’t say long term yet. But they came packaged really nicely with a clicker in the box too. The bells work great! Loud sound exactly like you would hear in a store. Easy to push button for my dog and cat. This is my cat after 2 days of training with these bells.
Works really good. Rubber on the bottom makes it harder for them to slide around. Very good deal at $12.99! Perfect for training pets to ring for a treat!

I use this everyday with my dogs

I bought this dog bell to help me know when my dogs need to go outside, especially when I’m not paying attention to them. It’s cute to watch them hit the bell when they want a potty break or to play outside. It’s functional, easy to use, and the build quality is great. The noise level depends on how hard the dogs hit it—if they use their strong paws, it can be pretty loud. I also love the aesthetic.

    Perfect for training

We got these for our little bernedoodle as he finishes potty training and they have been great! We were worried he wouldn’t catch on right away and put one bell at each door out of our apartment. The bells have a great ring you can hear from far away and they’re super easy to ring with a little pressure. Our dog has caught on super quick that he needs to push it to go outside. They don’t slide around too much on our linoleum floor unless our puppy really needs to go and pummels it.

They’re sturdy metal bells, exactly as pictured. We love the white and black bell, it looks like the pattern will stick well and not fade. We’re going to have these around forever!

    Excellent for training

I had never taught a dog to use a bell or an object to alert for needing to go outside so this was sort of difficult at first on my end to figure out how to do it, but overall the end result was fantastic. They are loud without being annoyingly loud. I can hear the dog ringing it from anywhere in my 1700sqft house which is very convenient.

To the sturdiness, we have a husky who is around 50lbs and likes to really use her claws when ringing it and despite that the metal bell portion and plastic depression button have held up well over the last 10+/- months. She often even flips it hitting it so hard and it continues to work well.

The addition of the training clicker is nice but wasn't really necessary FOR ME as I already had those, but for someone else may be very useful.

My major gripe here is with the durability of the paint and the rubber non-slip bottom.
The paint itself started peeling in places about 3 months or so in and has increased to about 1/4-2/5 of the bells top surface has peeling paint. This does not affect its use AT ALL however part of the reason I purchased the item was cause it was kinda cute. I can obviously repaint it however the metal below is not rust resistant and will likely take some extra effort on my part to clean up before painting.
The nonslip bottom covers a plastic base that is fine and I have had no issues with. That being said the non-slip is not glued in place, it is simply stretchy and slips over the bottom and uses tension to stay in place. That being said it often slips off with my larger dog and then needs to be put back on. I will regularly find the bell all around my kitchen wherever my dog has knocked it to. Additionally putting it back on constantly has caused it to rip in placed and it likely won't be useful much longer. I will probably just apply come silicone to the plastic bottom to fix this myself but again its something I have to do to fix an inherent problem with this product. This issue does affect the use of this item somewhat so that is why I dropped durability to a 2.

Overall though I still rate this product a 4 because it is a sturdy metal bell that has held up in most ways except aesthetics. I would recommend it if you are looking to train your dog to bell alert for potty breaks. Just keep in mind this bell (and likely most of the other cheaper ones like it) will probably have to be repainted down the line.

    Nice sounding bell tone

My dog grasped the idea of touching this bell very quickly. Doesn't always hit the 'dinger' but I'm okay with that as the reason I got the bell is more for a point of focus for another task I need him to learn. It isn't too big and the bell isn't as loud as say a deli bell. Nice quality and has a rubber gasket type thing enclosing the bottom of the bell.

    Does the job

We have a small, 4lb puppy. He can push this thing around. The bell does work, but your dogs paw has to be directly on top or it just slides around. Not a huge deal, i bought a cheap rug to put under it, problem solved.

Cute sitting not the floor, and adorable watching my dogs ring it!

Full disclosure, I trained my dog years ago (she is almost 11 now) to ring a bell identical to this one when she has to go outside to go potty. Her younger sister (4 years old) also rings the bell. I recently moved and forgot the bells at our former residence, so I needed new ones. I didn't realize how much I needed the upgrade until these arrived!

These bells are so much louder than my last ones – probably because they were 10 years old – but I like that because I can always hear them now. The biggest upgrade I love about these bells is the silicone bottom that comes with them to be attached to the plastic bottom of the bell. My old bells did NOT have silicone bottoms on them – ever. I can not describe how painful it is to hear your dog ring the bell with their paw and then drag the bell screeching across the floor. Yes, she did it on purpose. Yes, I was aware of this. But my goodness, the pain for my ears (let alone her ears!) when she would drag that bell hurt a lot.

These bells do NOT have that problem, and now we are both happy. I also love the cute paw prints on them. I recommend purchasing these bells!

    Great trading tool for pups

My dog is now trained to ring his bell to let us know he wants to go outside. We taught him to hit it as a pup before heading out to potty and a few weeks into it he got it and continues to utilize this. Sturdy and great sound quality. My dog has used it quite a bit and it’s in great shape. Durable.

    Rings perfectly loud!

We are still teaching our 7 month old to ring the bell himself, which he has done 3x in the last few weeks. We do use it more-so to call him to the door, as a warning that it’s time to go outside which has been hugely beneficial!
