How to Change the Ringtone
Step1
- Plug the receiver into a socket.
- Press the Forward or Backward button to select your favorite music.
- Please Note: don't press and hold the Forward or Backward button for about more than 5s,otherwise all settings will be cleared.
Step2
Press and hold the volume button about 5s until the receiver make a "ding" sound and the LED flashes once.
Step3
Touch the sensitive area on the button within 25s to send a signal to the receiver.

Easy to activate bellIt works really well. Only needs a small amount of pressure to activate. My dog learned how to use it within 1 week. I used peanut butter to teach her how to activate the bell. It took me about an hour to teach her that. It took another week before she started ringing the bell on her own. Since then, we have not had any accidents.

Survived a hurricaneFirstly, this was the third doorbell I attempted with my puppy and she picked it up right away and our life was running smoothly with potty breaks. It is super sensitive which means she had to barely touch it with her nose for it to activate which was perfect for us.
Fast forward a few months to this October and I have to give this doorbell a huge high-five. So my house was under two feet of water in this recent hurricane, putting both the doorbell and the receiver completely submerged under salt water for over 12 hours. After emptying out my house I looked at the doorbell and touched it just to see if by some chance it survive AND IT DID!!!!! Barely anything sir this storm but the doggy doorbell did and works perfectly fine. So I don’t typically leave reviews even if I love the product (which I do) but the fact it survived earned a 5 star review!!!!!!!

Great productThis doggy doorbell made my life a whole lot easier. I have two pitbull puppies and had a hard time with house training. Set up was a breeze, just plugged in the base and attached via velcro the two bells to my front and back doors. Only took a few times to show my dogs how to use and suddenly my dogs were alerting me to go out! I Can easily hear the bells whenever i am in the house. Best purchase ever. I am not cleaning up messes anymore. Love this product! And the price was very reasonable. Have had no issues. Highly recommend.

Works great, but....This solved my problem of not being able to see my girl at the door and having accidents when she was a puppy, but it could use improvement:
1.One ding is enough, as others have stated the repeated doorbell is annoying and unnecessary. Also, one doorbell sound is enough, I don't need long songs or crazy sounds like some weirdo people do with their phones.
2. I put one on the inside and the other on the outside of the door and didn't have any adhesion problems. However…when I moved, we had a glass sliding door instead of a regular steel door. As my girl gets overly excited sometimes and will jump at the doorbell with her whole body like a crazy person/dog, afraid she'd break the glass, I put them on the wall next to the door opening and also outdoors on the stucco. I did use the extra adhesion pads that came with it so we weren't using the old ones and here's what happened. Within a day or so (September mild weather) the outside bell fell off. Within another day or two after that after she rang it and I came to let her out, I found it on the floor on the inside with claw marks all down the drywall and part of the drywall still attached to the bell, so now I have drywall repair work to do. I would prefer a screw in mounted option for the bell. And next time I will get a plastic wall protector too.
3. After the outside bell fell off unbeknownst to me at the time, she proceeded to chew it up and it no longer works. Would be nice to have some sort of warranty covering this type of damage caused by adhesion failures/falling scenarios.
4. By far, before moving, the biggest annoyance with this was that the sensor would get dirty from her nose and then stop working. I'd just clean it up with a clorox wipe, but still…it's negative reinforcement for training. She's outside doing her part and getting no response from me in the office on the other side of the house because no bell is going off, so she reverts to jumping, howling, and clawing at the door.
5. If I could go back and change the training I would. What I did was teach her touch with her nose and move the target from my hand to whatever I pointed to, in this case, the doorbell (that part I wouldn't change), where I would then open the door and let her in/out, which she got on her first session attempting the doorbell no problem. The problem for me is that she also learned she could train me to come to her anytime she rang the bell, usually while I am trying to work and not paying her as much attention. So after a month or so, she was ringing the bell when she was wanting something like fresh water (she won't drink it if there are floaties), if her feeder needed filling, if she threw her toy somewhere she couldn't get it, if she wanted a treat, when she was bored and wanted to play, and sometimes when she just wanted to tease me…she'd be on her bed pretending she never rang it all looking the other way no matter what I said to her. She didn't even wait at the door anymore but would walk to where she could see me get out of my chair and then run to the door if she did really want to go outside. Basically….I became the dog butler, literally. Just ring the bell and call me Jeeves! So if I could go back and do it over, I'd go out with her on a leash, wait for her to potty and then bring her in so hopefully she'd learn the bell is only for potty time. She's so smart maybe it wouldn't have mattered but bringing it up for others to consider. I don't know who is training who with this, lol
I bought another single bell for outside to replace the damaged one and plan on using silicone to stick it to the stucco and we'll see how that goes. There is a month wait for shipping and I have to let it warm up outside a bit for the silicone. Overall, we achieved what was needed for potty training, not a single accident since, and even though I have complaints am pretty happy with the setup/cost compared to having to install a wall dog door, but I did remove one star for the things listed above.

1. Shipping – 5 stars – I selected free shipping and received this product within 2 days as expected, with no problems. It came in an Amazon bubblewrap envelope.
2. Packaging – 5 stars – All the pieces arrived in a compartmentalized cardboard box: there were no dents to the box, no damages to the individual pieces inside — all parts were nicely protected and couldn't bang/scratch against each other because of the box design, which was good. I was worried at first that the transmitters would use up battery during transportation but there's very low chance that something could've pressed into the touch 'button' accidentally. Everything was easy to remove from the box, and I'm very glad that there wasn't a lot of junk packaging to dispose of.
3. Product – 5 stars:
As described, I received: 1 receiver, 2 transmitters (batteries included & already installed inside), 4 double-sided adhesives, a mini screwdriver (to open up the transmitters if necessary to replace batteries) and an instruction manual. Quality was good. No rough edges, poking parts that could hurt my dog or my hands. Not flimsy-feeling; worth my $30.
Function: Everything arrived ready to go as soon as I plugged the receiver into the wall, I didn't need to open up and install batteries or anything. The manual was easy to understand, so I figured out how to 'pair' my transmitters with the receiver (pretty easy — basically press down on the first button of the receiver until you hear a ding and then press your transmitter). Receiver lights up when plugged, transmitters flash blue light when pressed. This is not motion sensor, and it won't sound if you bump around the edges — you need to gently put pressure on the middle area. So, doggo's going to need some training, but at least I'm not going to hear doorbell every few minutes.
There were indeed lots of different melodies to choose from, more than cellphone preset ringtones lol — I didn't count if there were 55, but I liked that the melodies were quite varied in terms of musical style (ode to joy, anyone? :)) and also in terms of length. I was able to adjust sound, and although the silent mode kind of defeats purpose for me, I guess I could turn it silent at night if I don't want to be disturbed.
I also tested distance: I don't think I tested 800 feet because my house's not that big, but I tested keeping my receiver on 2nd floor and pressing the button on first floor outside of my front door — so it at least functions as a regular door bell and works through wall & door.
Surprise function: Seller didn't include this in the product description, but I inferred it from the manual and thought it was super cool: first of all, you could select a melody for one transmitter, and then select another melody for another if you wanted. So basically my dog, or a human, if I use it as an actual doorbell, could let me know by the sound which door needed to be opened, whether it's front door or door to the yard for example.
Secondly, I think you can potentially buy more transmitters and pair them with the receiver. I don't know how many transmitters maximum could pair with receiver, I haven't tried it myself but based on manual instructions, I think more than two is possible…
Last thoughts:
I thought it was quite clever that the transmitters have a strap hole (so humans can hang it around the neck). FYI strap's not included, but that's easy enough to buy (and grandma/child would probably want to choose pattern). The face/cartoon on the transmitter is a little dopy IMO but my dog's not going to care so I won't be picky about it.
Battery's a little uncommon, about half the length of AAA, but I found a 5-pack on Amazon for $7, so glad it's not going to be a problem.

Best purchase in a whileOur dog got used to bark to go in and out of the house. I wanted to get her the bells but didn’t want her scratching our door so we got these. She learned really quick. We put them on the floor cause she prefers to put the paw on them rather than touch with her nose. They are awesome. The sound is not annoying like others. We’ve had them for 6 months and we haven’t had to change batteries. I super recommend them.
