Convenient & Easy!!This thing is a lifesaver. I got this when my puppy was 6 weeks old and expected to spend quite a bit of time training him to use it. However! He caught on incredibly fast and was a pro by 12 weeks. It saved us money on puppy pads, prevented countless messes in the house, and made the new puppy phase incredibly smooth. He learned to tap it by us realizing he wants to go outside, tapping the button for him, then opening the door. This way, he associated the door opening with the tapping + chime, and began to tap it himself. It takes only a light tap of the nose or paw.
Now, at almost 6 months old, he uses it seamlessly when he wants to go out and guests are pretty impressed. He almost uses it in a petty way at this point – if he gets in trouble for something, he'll go over and press it as almost to say "whatever, I'd like to go outside now" and it's hilarious. The different sounds and chimes are nice options but we really only stick to one that sounds like a classic doorbell. Overall, this thing is easy to use, built well, and saves time, money, and your floors!

For any dog who demands attentionI'm only writing this review because my human is making me. I mean, I'm a dog, and I know what's best for me. And what's best for me is this dog doorbell thingy.
Okay, fine. It's actually really useful. I mean, I used to have to whine and scratch at the door to get my human's attention, but now I just press this button with my paw, and it makes a nice loud noise that my human can hear from anywhere in the house.
And let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. I mean, I'm a stubborn dog, and I don't like to be ignored. But with this doorbell, my human always knows when I need to go outside. And it's not just for potty breaks, either. I also use it to demand treats and belly rubs.
The range on this thing is crazy, too. I can press the button from all the way upstairs, and my human can still hear it in the backyard. And it's waterproof, so I don't have to worry about it getting ruined if I accidentally drop it in my water bowl.
Overall, I'm giving this dog doorbell four paws up. It's a must-have for any stubborn dog like me who demands attention and service at all hours of the day and night. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go press the button and demand some treats.

We love it but the outside receiver is already not working. We need to use one of these doorbells so the dog can get our attention. My husband and I both work from home, so even though we aren't trying to ignore the dog, sometimes it happens. This bell was super easy to install and set-up. The puppy learned super quickly and the bell is very effective. My only complaint is the outside receiver. After the first bout of rain, it doesn't work anymore.

No instructions included??? Who does that???Ok, the item itself, sets up and works great! The transmitter is very sensitive to touch. Hence, I'm sure if I'm able to get my dog to understand how to use it, it will work great!
Now, in getting my dog to use it, or training him, is the challenge. The kit comes with no instructions at all.. I'm forced to seek elsewhere… I would expect, at minimum a small fold out with at least basic directions on how to deploy and train with this device… Hence, the star deductions….
Well, we will give it a try with the hopes that we will be able to train our dog to fully engage this item!

Fun experimentI got this a little later in the potty training experience and I should have I think. It works great. I had the receiver or bell roughly 8 yards from the button and there was no issue whatsoever. My poor little guy never really got the hang of using it, but I know that the ideal was working whenever I would ring the bell he knew what was going on, but I could never quite get him to interact with it on his own. But it works as it is a tied it is super loud and there are a ton of different chimes that you could choose from.
