Works really wellI ordered the bird seed bell holder to avoid the bell from falling onto my deck and breaking into pieces. So far, I've had the birds eat a bird seed bell and as the bell got smaller, it didn't fall all over the place. The holder definitely serves its purpose. We've had quite a lot of wind lately and the holder protected the bird seed bell and worked really well. I highly recommend.

Works great!Holds the bell perfectly and the birds are able to perch on it when they feed. The bell seems to last longer than it did without the cage. The bottom latch is flimsy but I just do the twist tie thing and it works perfectly.

Easy to useI got this to go along with my cone shaped seed block. It stays together nicely and seems to be squirrel proof. It opens on the bottom and I was worried if a squirrel got on it the flap would open and the seed cone would fall out. Small birds really enjoy it.

Bottom is very weak closure! The thing is, it’s good to keep the squirrel out but the bottom opens SO easily! Tried to bend the closure hook and it is VERY hard to bend – green coating comes off with any effort. Had to use strong twist tie to keep it closed….. so yeah.

LatchingIt didn’t latch good and would come undone from time to time, and I had already put it out (because I was going out of town and wanted the birds to have the bell to feed on) and I had thrown away the packaging so I couldn’t return it for a replacement. I was going to request a new one thinking that maybe the one I had was defective, however I did not have the option to do that anymore.

Poor wild birdSo initially it works great but as the seed bell gets smaller it is harder for the birds to access the seed. And as the birds try to get the seed they fall off to the street below my NYC apartment

Not worthyIt’s a very expensive product for what it offers, it has problems in the design, the grill is very wide which allows the squirrels to eat it very comfortably, if the spaces between the bars were narrower, the squirrels would have more difficult trying to eat it, additionally, squirrels open it easily. The plastic covering the wire is completely nibbled by the squirrels. If all you need is to hang the bell, this product can serve you well, do not expect anything else from it
