Brilliant! This is life-changing stuff, absolutely brilliant! Over the course of a weekend, our 10-week-old pup who would slip unnoticed to the door and have an accident when we failed to notice her quietly waiting in place is proud to "Touch" the doorbell to announce her need and desire to go outside, and when she's finished, come back in. There are great notes included in the install guide on training as well! The two sensors are perfect – one for inside – one for outside to signal coming back in. They work great – no issues transmitting from out in the Alberta cold. A ton of ringtones, but only if you like the sing-song musical doorbells that drive most people to disconnect them permanently. There is one bell-tone option, but it gets the job done! The touch sensor is fairly sensitive – good for somewhat tentative nose-taps, but nothing that will be constantly activated accidentally. If in doubt, buy it!

Love them and hate them at the same timeFirst of all, these work great! Took a few weeks to train the dogs, now they can't stop ringing the doorbell. Thankfully, there are a lot of different sound options and a volume control. We have had these for a few months now and we have one of the plungers on the outside door. I wasn't sure how they would handle the winter, we hit -50C this season and they are still going strong.
Just be prepared for DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG… you will love it… honestly 😉

Easy to set up, and battery-free is greatIt was easy to set up, and it's easy for my dog to push even with just her nose.
The receiver is basically just plug-in-and-go, and the volume is quite loud if needed (helped to ensure my dog can hear when she presses it, even from outside). The button was easy to stick to a 2×4" and has held up against rain and snow. Had it about a month or two now, and it's doing well in freezing temperatures (though we haven't hit heavy winter yet, but I'm optimistic it'll work).
The fact that it doesnt require batteries is great. 10/10 would get again.

Excellent productWorks great! Easy to install and the training tips came in really handy. It’s been 2 weeks and my puppy is using the bell every time he has to potty. Thank you!
Introducing the Mighty Paw Smart Bell! (verified owner) –
Highly Recommend: Includes 1-Receiver (Plug-in) And 2-Transmitter ButtonsLove this product because it is/was easy to install and set up. We chose the two transmitters version so our dog can let us know when he wants to go out, and when he is ready to come inside. Additionally, training our dog to use Smart Bell has taken out the stress of worrying about our canine family member needing to go out to do his business, or simply wants to enjoy the backyard, or when he is ready to come back inside because he now communicates using this system.
Installation: Smart Bell comes with everything needed to install and includes several 3M sticky pads for mounting the transmitters without drilling holes in the wall, etc. After a couple trial installations for the inside transmitter, we finally settled on attaching it to the inside glass of the door opposite the outside transmitter (see photo). WARNING: The sticky pads work very, very, well and the transmitter is not easily removed if you decide to move it. In our case, we tried two different locations on the drywalls and I used a putty knife with some effort to carefully pry it off without damage to the paint/wall.
Training: Key to the training was to get our dog interested in the transmitter (button) to begin with, achieved by smearing a tiny bit of peanut butter on the button face. Because he was a puppy at the time, he was not pressing hard enough to actuate the bell when he licked at the peanut butter. That got him interested and what finally worked was to wipe a high-value treat across the face of the button, leaving its scent. He could smell the treat and began pressing with his nose and using his paw looking for the treat, activating the bell. As soon as the bell sounded, we opened the door, praised him, and offered him a treat outside the door to get him to go outside. We used the same method to get him to activate the bell to come in. Being highly "treat" motivated he quickly associated the bell with getting treats and we weaned him off as he soon understood the bell would get him out and in the door. We still give him a treat when he comes in as a reward for letting us know he is done outside and ready to come in.
The Smart Bell is programmed with 38-different chimes and 4-differnt volume settings. Downside: There is no list and you must cycle through each chime to decide the one you want to use. BIGGER DOWNSIDE: If the home loses power, Smart Bell defaults to the first chime. It does not hold the choice in memory. Where we live, we have lost power often enough that we just use the default chime . . .
Durability/Performance: Purchased and installed in November 2022, and as of this writing the outside transmitter exposed to all our weather, dirty/muddy paws and even a slight bit of biting for just over a year and works as designed every time.
Recommendation: Highly recommend!

Taught my dog to press it in under 10 minutesI've been avoiding ordering a potty bell for the past few months, as I was afraid my puppy (4.5 month old heeler) would just use it to go out and play rather than for just a potty break. Well he never figured out a way to tell me when he needed to potty, other than walking to the door for a few seconds (which I rarely happen to see) prior to him just peeing on the floor. I bought the bell, taught him how to press it VERY quickly, I was shocked at how fast he caught on, with me sitting on the floor with him and the button unmounted and just sitting on the floor using treats. My command is push the button. After he figured out that command, I mounted the button to the door, it was a little more difficult for him but he quickly figured that out too.
We are on day 4 now and although he will press the button on his own accord (without my giving the command) he still is going on the floor at times. I stopped using treats when he would press the button as he only connected the button pushing with getting a treat. Now when he presses it on his own accord, I rush to the door open it while saying good boy and go potty (he will pee on command 90% of the time). He's starting to connect the button to the door being opened/potty but I think it's when he's really got to go bad that he forgets and just pees.
The button does not take batteries, it's really easy for him to successfully press it, it seems well made for the cost. I chose to use the default tone, it seems to be the shortest–the others seem really long to me. The speaker is very loud, can be heard throughout my home. I purchased the 2 button pack but am only using 1 at this time as he doesn't have access to the back door (whole yard) without supervision anyway.

Easy to press for pups, but adhesive fell off immediatelyEDIT (06-10-34): The bell fell off of the wood door frame we mounted it on outside by our sliding door within 12 hrs. It fell off from some rain under a cover. We cleaned the wood off with a citrus degreaser used on wooden furniture before mounting the bell in hopes it'd hold up longer. I'm highly disappointed that the package came with screws and anchors, but there is no way for you to use the screws to attach the bell to a surface. The picture is the back of the bell after peeling off the adhesive it came with.
OG (06-09-24): My dog is highly trained in the "touch" command and was trained with potty bells as a puppy, so it took us ~10-15 mins to get him to use this bell.
I'd purchased a doggy bell in the past but promptly returned it bc the button took a lot of force to activate. My pup doesn't like touching things very hard (understandably so!!) bc he does so with his nose. This bell doesn't take very much force to activate. A gentle and firm nudge from my dog's nose is all it takes to ring the bell.
The receiver is *very* loud, so it can be heard throughout our 3 bedroom apt (~1200 sq ft). The size of the doorbell and the receiver are about palm size. I'm a petite woman, and it fits nicely in my hand.
The button seems well built and sturdy enough to last for some time. Because we've places the button outside, my only concern is the hot TX summer will either melt the adhesive permanently to the wood, or the button will fall off as the instructions say to heat the adhesive when trying to remove the button.
I wish there was a more obvious option to mounting the button using screws (which it came with!). The back comes entirely covered in the adhesive—with no obvious holes for the screws provided.
The button and receiver is very sleek and blends in extremely well with our off-white drywall, and the white painted wood on our balcony.
We bought this in an emergency to find a solution for us being bad pawrents and forgetting our pup out on the balcony. We have curtains covering every window and the sliding door to help with the heat, so we often don't see our dog at the door. And because he never barks, we assume he's inside napping under a table if we don't see him immediately.
But now we don't have to stress as much! He's able to communicate with us, and let us know he wants back inside. Even if I leave and my husband (who sleeps like a rock and enjoys sleeping in) is still asleep (which was how the pup got locked out. I left in a hurry for work and forgot to let the dog back in), our pupper will be able to wake up his dad and be let back in.
This bell is worth all the money we spent. It's a cheap price to pay knowing that our dog now has a way to be let back inside during this hot weather.
