Fits the feeder picturedInformation is kinda vague in the listing, but can confirm that this nicely fits the feeder shown in the pictures. Nice tight fit and clips on securely. So if you don't want to pay $60 for the brand name piece of plastic, this one looks and fits just like it.

Fits at less than half the price!I have a lot of cats and a lot of microchip feeders. For the most part, I have them up against the wall and next to each other so other cats can't really sneak behind and steal food. However, I do have a few that are by themselves and have had to place them inside a box to keep other cats from stealing food. This is really annoying considering how much these microchip feeders cost and that the main point is to make sure only the cat assigned to the feeder has access. The brand name rear cover costs a lot, making it not worth the purchase since a box can work for a lot less. For the price, this one is worth it. It fits PERFECTLY and makes it impossible for another cat to steal from the back of the feeder. I will probably be buying a few more.

100% necessary to address a design flawThere is only one thing to say about this product. The automatic feeder has a fatal design flaw. As designed it is way too easy for a 2nd animal to come up from behind and steal food. This product fixes the design flaw. Bottom line:
1. ABSOLUTELY buy this product along with the microchip feeder!
2. It sucks that the feeder does not come with this! It's an absolute necessity and I wish they were always bundled.
