Product Description

Is Clicker Training needed for Dogs? The Clicker Training teaches your beagle, Pomeranian, and cavalier puppies about the good behaviors that you want to instill in them. It is a fantastic training tool to teach your pets that a good deed always comes with a reward. Using clickers is quicker and handier in carrying prizes. Just click when the desired behavior comes up, not upon its completion. Await your furry friends to conclude the task once they hear the sound of the clicker, then hand them their reward after doing a great job. This method uses a positive support system for your pets instead of teaching them through punishments and scolding. How do I start clicker training? You can start training your pets as early as six weeks. A room without any distractions is a vital key to get your pet accustomed to the clicker, especially during the first days or weeks of training. Practice giving them the treat first with one hand and the clicker in the other, click the clicker once, then immediately give your pet their reward. Do this a few times so that your pet gets how the clicker goes with their treat. Can I use a clicker to warn my pet of bad behavior? The clicker method aims to let pets know they had done something good. It is never intended to mark a bad behavior because they might remember the wrong deeds rather than the good ones. Clicking encourages your pets to repeat the marked behaviors because of the prize that comes with it. What other pets can have clicker training? Aside from dogs, clicker training can also be an efficient teaching method to your parrots, chinchillas, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, birds, and even horses! How to Use: Click the clicker. Just press the button on the clicker and it will make a 'click' sound. Immediately give your puppy a treat. This sound is used as positive reinforcement while training. Many professional trainers advise giving the pet a treat as soon as they respond corre

  3. KLM (verified owner)

    Great clickers so far!

I use these to play outdoor educational games with kids and these are very kid-friendly, and seem to be durable.

  4. Melissa Gibbons (verified owner)

    Works as intended

The wrist strap helps a lot, the tearshape design makes it very easy to hold, and i honestly do prefer the click sound as opposed to others (seems 'softer' but still distinct clicking sound)

  5. Elena (verified owner)

Quality and work well good price

Sturdy and last the many clicks they endure. The price I paid for the 5 a got was a great deal!

  6. NavyRooster (verified owner)

    Perfect

I have already written a review on this product, but one to update. I do animal rescue and I am basically a hospice foster. I have blind, deaf and dogs with various health issues related to their advanced ages. I started using this clicker as a way for my blind dogs to find the door to come back in the house. I just clicked clicked click and they come to the sound. It is perfect for that.

  7. Linda (verified owner)

    Not really suitable for birds

I’m sure it works for dogs. I tried it for my budgie it didn’t really work, she seemed scared of the click.

  8. Hanan Hayyeh (verified owner)
