I can't believe I waited so long to get one.My dog isn't terrible for baths, but he's not a gem, either. I used to just keep him in the standing shower with me, then use a cup to fill with the faucet, pour it over him, repeat. It took forever, but it was the only way because the sound of anything else terrified him.
I got this beauty, and it installed to my apartment's shower head SO EASILY and quickly! And it's just.. Amazing. The suction is STRONG on the hook, and the water pressure and settings are all really amazing. I can shower my dog in like.. 10 minutes instead of a 30-45 minute ordeal. If he's having a lot of anxiety, I can make the water come out softer/less intense, etc.
(It also feels really good on sore human muscles too! Lol.)
I can't ever imagine going back. Yes, it's pricey, but oh my god I can't imagine anything else now. My dog I imagine would thank you all, too. Haha.

Muy buena salvo un detalleLa verdad es que es una excelente regadera, ayuda bastante para bañar a los perros, materiales muy buenos, se siente resistente y el agua sale muy bien, lo único es que no detiene totalmente el agua al cerrarla, se sale un poco, pero no es problema si se cierra el paso desde la llave de la regadera. Fuera de eso, es muy buen producto.

Love, love, love this dog washing wand.Works wonderful. Had to leave our last one when we moved (realtor had it in pictures). Immediately repurchased for new house. Lifesaver for getting a thorough rinse. Can pause between lathering up so no water wasted. Long hose is just right length and easily attaches. Thanks for a great product that does what it says. Last one we had 2 yrs before having to leave at house due to move. Dog gets washed every 3-4 weeks and I use as well to rinse down shower when I clean it every 3-4 days so it gets used and it’s holding up perfectly.

Makes bath time so much easier and faster.I have two Standard Poodles and bath day is a challenge. This sprayer is much better than my regular Waterpik sprayer. It helps wet the coat and rinse the suds so much faster. I enthusiastically recommend it for any dog and especially the heavy coated ones. The installation was simple and I find it works great for everything the 'human' sprayer was used for so no need to swap it back.

Worked great on my giant breed dogMy poor pup recently started having skin/coat issues and I need to give him weekly baths (he says, "NO BATH EVER"). It was a traumatic battle of wills and strength for both of us, and one where I had only a slight advantage. And believe me, there is nothing more sad than a 125lb dog sitting in the tub with a look of utter resignation.
And then the actual bath part starts. I was using the master bath in my bedroom because it has a hand held shower head with a short hose. Basically, the hose was long enough to allow me to wash one side of him at a time. And since he absolutely refused to turn around (his butt must absolutely stay planted in the corner of the tub at ALL times, "NO STICK HEAD IN CORNER EVER" he say), one side is all we washed. So I went looking for a better option and happened to see this on a Lighting Deal. Stuck it in my cart, did some quick research, looked great, good reviews, and then for some reason I decided not to buy it.
Fast forward two baths later…I'm soaked head-to-toe, he's not soaked at all but somehow still covered in shampoo, the entire bathroom floor is flooded, there is water dripping from the ceiling, and I've used up every towel in the house. And then I made the mistake of turning slightly, giving him an extra 2" gap between me and the tub wall. Within seconds he had launched all 125lbs of himself out of the tub and directly onto the linoleum, which of course resulted in him immediately extending his doggy nails and sliding frantically spread eagle across the floor, finally collapsing into a pile against the far wall. I felt utterly defeated. This just could not be any worse. Then he stood up and frantically shook, spraying doggy shampoo right into my gaping mouth. Something had to change.
I came back to Amazon, put this and a shower mat in my cart, and checked out without any hesitation. Installation took less than 5 minutes. Next bath the shower mat encouraged him to actually go in the tub without an extended wrestling match. And I was able to wet all of him down with so little effort. It was easy to hang the wand on the suction cup when I didn't need it. With the full spray, there was enough water pressure to wet down the thick downy fur on his back end. I was able to carefully wet up under his legs and tummy using the narrow spray and reduced water pressure. One-handed operation was a little tricky at first, but I got it eventually. Best of all, the hose was long enough to reach his back side at the far end of the tub. I'm really surprised at how well it worked because my closets are stuffed with doggy gadgets and toys I thought would be awesome and then never used.
Only comment is that I wish you could turn the dial on the wand and completely stop the water, but instead there is always a little trickle. Because it was hanging on the suction cup, and because of the layout of my bathroom, that little trickle bounced off the wall of the tub and right into my face. I finally just stuck it into the water in the tub.
Bottom line, if you're a doggy parent, this is a great investment that will make you're doggy bathing life a lot easier. It could easily be used on my short-haired 10lb dog as well. And with the $10 Waterpik rebate, it's very reasonably priced. I'm considering buying another to put outside for washing down my lab after her ocean swimming, woods tromping, mud puddle splashing adventures and for all those rainy day muddy paws.

Amazing product!!I was hesitant about how well this would work and if it was worth the cost. Then I was amazed at how much cleaner my dogs were after their baths (I used to use a cup to pour warm water from a bucket to bathe them in the tub). It took 1/3 the time to give each of my dogs their weekly bath than it did before this little tool. I have 3 dogs so I would often feel as though I had ran a marathon by the time I was done. This wand saves my arm and my back and my precious time. It’s a little awkward looking, hanging in the tub but it works lol I’ve had dogs more most of my life and now I’m wondering where was this thing all along! Very efficient and well designed. Installation took a few minutes. I am so so thankful to the company for having such a miracle product for pet parents of all. Highly recommend!

Strong streams of water gets through oily coats!Our dogs have short but oily fur with a thin and wimpy undercoat that resists water. I already use a handheld shower attachment (Kohler) set to the massage mode in order to get forceful pulses of water through the fur into the skin and even then it would take forever to wet, shampoo, and rinse. Got the 2.5 gpm version of this (wanted as much high pressure water as possible) and it delivers! I have to make sure I have a firm grip on it before I turn the water on max flow or it will go flying! I screwed this onto my existing hose, so it took 30 seconds to install. I found the knob selector super stiff and hard to turn, especially with soapy hands. So instead I use our shower lever to simply reduce the water flow for heads/faces (I'm able to do this with our Kohler shower system because the water flow lever is separate from the water temperature lever). Our dogs were pretty shocked at first but settled quickly when they realized it felt good AND I wasn't splashing water all over their faces: you can keep the wand very close to the body as you get near the chest and neck and the dogs don't feel like they need to turn away. There will be overspray on smaller dogs but you do have to option to switch it to the gentler, shorter stream. I just tell our smaller one to suck it up because I can get her done so quickly with the high-pressure longer stream. When it's bath time, I just swap out our Kohler handheld with this one, shove both dogs into the shower, and get them both done in an hour! I'm concerned about longevity since it's plastic, and that includes the plastic threads (yikes) but it does seem like a sturdy plastic build, and I'm gonna treat it very gently to make sure it lasts. It was so satisfyingly easy to 1. wet and 3. rinse that now I'm kinda annoyed that this didn't magically make the 2. shampoo part of the process easier. 🙂
