Do NOT be cheap and buy this knockoff! You'll regret it.DO NOT BUY! This product clogged up my cat Genie and caused it to overflow and spill cat feces filled water everywhere! The granules clump together and do not fall through the scooping grill..Do not buy this. This is one thing you can't be cheap about pertaining to the Cat Genie and believe me I hate that company when it comes to the price gouging they do. Unfortunately I'll have to give them money and buy their granules until I find an alternative to not give them a dime of my money.
Bonus story* I got my cat Genie as a gift from a person that I no longer associate with. I had an issue with the hopper that needed replacing. I call Cat Genie to buy the replacement part and they attempt to look me up as a purchaser. I told them that it was a gift. They asked me for the person's email which I didn't have. They refuse to sell me the replacement part unless I buy Catch Genie products off them for the next 6 months and build a track record of purchases direct through them and Amazon doesn't count.(which I've been using)

Great replacement granules for the Cat GenieWe have used the Cat Genie for several years now and actually just bought our second a couple of months ago. My main gripe is that the granules get all over the house, due to static cling with long haired cats. However, we just tried these granules and found them to be at least as good as the ‘Cat Genie’ official ones and they are less expensive. Only time will tell if they appear all over the house but so far so good. I will continue to buy these in the future.
