Which Pets Get the Most from It

Cats that like to swat and chase usually take to bell balls quickly. Rabbits may nudge it around their pen, and medium birds such as cockatiels may toss it on a play stand. Despite the title, it is a poor choice for most dogs: strong jaws can break the plastic, and pieces or the bell could be swallowed. At almost 3 inches it is also bulky for a dwarf hamster.

Tips for Safe Play

Use it as an interactive toy at first: roll it, let your pet chase, and then let them explore it on their own. Look it over for cracks each week. Put it away if your pet starts chewing pieces off, and never let the bell end up loose where a pet can reach it.

How big is it?

About 2.95 inches in diameter.

Is it safe for dogs?

The listing names dogs, but it is better suited to cats, rabbits and birds. Supervise any dog closely and remove the ball if they chew it.
