Surprisingly good quality!Clearly made to be used, not just for decoration. The sleigh-bell belt is 6 feet long, made of a 1" wide strip of black leather (the prong-hole for the buckle is about 3 inches back from the end of the belt, so the circumference when buckled is 5'9"). The 20 bells are riveted onto the leather at 3-inch intervals. The belt is actually made of two separate leather pieces that have been stitched AND glued AND riveted together at about the halfway point, showing good design and workmanship. The bells look like steel plated with something that makes them look gold; I expect they'll rust given the right conditions. The buckle is also a bright gold color but I can't tell the metal. The belt makes a bright, full cheery sound (20 bells!) just like you'd expect. Tag says made in India for JT International (tough-1.com).

Beautiful bellsBeautiful sound. Leather still had some wax left on it when it arrived. Heavy quality appearing leather. Ised on our Belgian mule team, is a bit larger than I expected, but easy to add holes and adjust slightly.

Beautiful CraftsmanshipI bought these bells to hang in the foyer for Christmas with a swag on top. I play carillon in our small Iowa town square and wanted to add bells this year to my Christmas decorations. The decorative bells I looked at online were expensive, not leather, and I suspected the bells would not be very good quality. I wondered if actual horse bells were still being made and I found these. The leather work is wonderful, the bell sounds are perfect. Bells are from India. I'm going to leave them year round and just change the swag according to the seasons. This will become an heirloom.

Let's be CLEAR, they are NOT BrassAs the header states these bells are NOT Brass, Brass is a non-ferrous metal to which a magnet will NOT stick. These make an excellent place to hold your magnets.
The pros; Well made belting
Well attached bells
The cons;
Bells NOT brass (as advertised)
Bells lack crisp ring sound, flat jingle
I do NOT recommend the purchase of this item

Works greatWorks great for my horses for parades. They are loud and fit my horses well just had to add an extra hole in it to make it fit better. My horses don’t mind them at all weight wise. Only thing is wish there was a way to secure bells to breast collar somehow to keep them from slipping over their neck.
